Welcome the Lunar New Year 2017 with a commemorative Yin Fire Rooster!
This limited release, commissioned tea pet designed by Los Angeles artisan Adam Roe is only available at Quantitea. Only 88 of these tea pets will be made - each piece is numbered and signed on the base. Your rooster is intricately hand-sculpted then cast in brass using the lost wax method.
A tea pet is a small figure which is kept by some tea drinkers for good luck. The history of tea pets can be traced back to the Yuan dynasty (1206–1368). Nurture your tea pet by placing it on the tea tray during your tea practice and pouring the end of your tea out over it.
